A strong community is a healthy one! My platform is dedicated to supporting mental health and addictions for our community.

With limited resources in our region, I'm committed to creating Membertou's own Mental Health & Addictions Department. We'll be repurposing the former Band Office and Wellness Home buildings to offer accessible mental health and addiction services.

We're investing in top professionals and support to reach those in our community who need it most.

🚨SOS: SEEKING OUR SUPPORTERS!

We are bursting with dogs of all ages, breeds, ability, and personality - and we are so lucky to be entrusted with their care. That said, adoptions are slower than ever, and our latest fundraiser was a net loss, as we spent more on gas than we raised - by a lot. 😢

Because of this, we are seeking YOUR help to share our posts and to donate to [email protected] on $5 Friday on THIS Friday, May 31st.

We know that not everyone is in a place where they can adopt, but if you can make even a micro-donation and share our adoptable dogs with your network of friends, we're hopeful we can make a difference in these dogs' lives and get them to loving, safe homes sooner than later.

STATISTICS UPDATE!

During our 2023-2024 fiscal year, ending March 31, 2024, FAACS volunteers trapped and transported 753 cats for veterinary services through our Trap-Neuter-Return and low-income spay-neuter programs.

FAACS has now helped 10,412 cats since our operations began in 2012!

Thank you so much to our dedicated volunteers, veterinarians and supporters for making this possible. 🐾❤🐾
