it pi**es me off when certain breeds become popular. anyo
ne can get their hands on them and pay for a breeding contract ( which means nothing imo). they will then breed these dogs twice a year to get the max bang for their buck. some will even breed a dogs own offspring with a parent or brother/ sister and just swap out names for breeding records. so if theres a genetic issue they double up on it. a dog is a family member, whether you are in the breeding business or just adopting one. do your research on breeders. check to see comments from previous buyers by googling any info you can find. remember every breed has certain issues and you should know that instead of just buying a cute fluffy puppy that will grow into a 50-80 pound dig with food allergies, health issues, a coat that needs tons of care. make sure youre able to pay for the extra costs this may cost. they are family. not a cool thing to have because they are currently popular. often times the local SPCA will have a dog that will love you twice as much for saving it. the cost will be much less and you could be saving a life. this will also cut down on the puppy mill type breeder. that being said there are many amazing breeders out there. just do due diligence.
