Shaving a double coated dog is always a last resort. These coats can become damaged and potentially can grow back weird, or not at all.

This sweet old man shows why even if your pup doesn't need a trim, they would still benefit from regular grooming. His dad was brushing at home, but wasn't able to get all the way through, and after four years of no professional grooming, his body was beginning to turn into a solid pelt.

We hope his coat grows back healthy, but matter what he at least is now 20lbs lighter, and way more comfortable 😉

That little taste of sunshine showed us it was too sweet to resist! 🌞

We'll be reducing hours slightly from June through August to spend more time with our own fur family and stay refreshed!

We will still be offering Sunday mobile services though, so no worries there!
