It’s shedding season🤩
Mr. Watson comes in every 4 weeks and receives our Deshed Treatment. Today he was especially hairy and decided he wanted to cover our entire back room in his luscious fur which just made us feel like we were in a snow globe! We are starting to now book for the beginning of June for all dogs that require haircuts or have long hair. It’s always best to prebook as we can then guarantee a slot for you furry friend; as well prebooking multiple appointments for the summer to guarantee they are tidy after all of that fun in the sun☀️

Deshed season is among us😱 This is Rockie and he is an Australian Shepherd. He visits us every 8 weeks and has a MASSIVE blow out every single time! Rockie receives our Deshed Package at every visit which includes our Deshed Shampoo and Conditioner which is formulated to help dry the oils out of the old dead coat for easier removal while adding the much needed moisture into the healthy coat. Along with our Deshed Package, Rockie receives a heavy brush out with our undercoat rake, equigroomer, slickers and metal combs to really make sure we are getting it ALL out🤩
Our Deshed Package helps keep shedding under control for up to 6-8 weeks! His parents along with plenty of other pet owners from our salon swear the shedding reduces by up to 90% after 4 days of visiting us. As you can see in the video; Rockie is wearing a muzzle. He wears a muzzle along with a happy hoodie as he requires some special assistance when it comes to the dryer. He is not aggressive towards humans but is just afraid of the dryer itself. From working with Rockie for the last 2 years he has become more comfortable with the dryer being near him as long as he is wearing the muzzle. We do not use them unless it is a last resort or the pet is more comfortable and feels safer with it on☺️
The life of a pet groomer always consists of getting covered in SO much dog hair 🐕😆
Meet Mr Kuma! He came in with an ATROCIOUS amount of undercoat needing to be removed, and we just saw him 3 months ago!! Needless to say, he is always such a good boy for the process and just needed a little help from our de-shedding package and high velocity dryer to get him feeling fabulous! 💨
Whats included in our de-shed package you may ask? 💁🏼♀️
A de-shed shampoo and conditioning treatment; and good brush through of conditioner to remove the top layer of undercoat so we can really get down to the root!
A blowout, which really is magic on its own 🪄
And then 5 years of brushing with various brushes until our arms fall off! (just kidding… but still a TON of brushing🤪)
