This beautiful weather gets me excited that it’s the last week of school for the kiddos and I’m ready to enjoy summer. I am currently booking July 18 onward with a growing cancellation list so don’t delay booking your pups in.
I am super excited to have Painters come this week! You may see them through the house but they are amazing and were willing to work around my grooming schedule and so it won’t effect any of my grooming days. Next step to being closer to finishing Reno’s for the year! 🤗

Dear valued clients, this year is flying by and I appreciate each and every one of you and enjoy having all your pups come to see me. I always want to be able to provide the best service and care possible at an appointment pace that is not stressful to your pets and in order to do this I need to occasionally raise my prices. Unfortunately due to not charging my worth until now it will seem like quite a jump however I can not afford to continue my business without it and appreciate your continued support. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to message me. Price increase will start July 1 2024.
Things that effect price are size, coat condition, temperament, length of hair, matting of coat, desired finish length of coat (blade clips are under a half inch and anything longer is a scissor clip, scissor clips require more time both drying and during the haircut and will be charged accordingly), frequency of grooming visits. I still do all inclusive grooms that include things like top quality shampoo and conditioner, deshedding, nail grinding, bows/bandanas etc low stress grooms, often only 1on1 and that’s not changing!
Few of my breed and services price changes are:

Drop in nail trim and grind $15
Small dog short hair bath and brush $45
Small dog full groom starting at $60
Mini doodle full groom starting at $90
Medium doodle full groom starting at $100
Large doodle full groom starting at $110
German Shepard deshed starting at $80
Golden retriever starting at $65
Lab type bath and desheds starting at $60
Double coated large breeds starting at $110
Double coated giant breeds starting at $130
Cat shave and nail trim starting at $70

It’s sure starting to feel like Spring out there today after a couple cooler days. I am booking into May right now with limited availability the first couple weeks due to prebooked appointments. Wow where has the last couple months gone!? It’s been a while since I’ve made a post but have been grooming away and planning some home Reno’s to better suit my needs starting with new flooring going in this week. It’s a bit of a construction zone so please don’t mind the clutter, should be put back together by next week.
Wanted to say that spring is looking to be as busy if not more then last year. I am currently booking last week of March and into April. If your pup is getting close to needing a groom please send me a message. I will have very limited evening appointments coming up May and June so if you are needing a certain day or time feel free to prebook!

Christmas came early! After 16 years of grooming I finally bought myself some cordless clippers to make my job just a bit easier.
I am currently booking Nov 6 onward with bookings already coming in for Christmas. Don’t wait to send me a message if you have a specific day or time your needing to get your pup in as I foresee a busy holiday season.

Chilly days like today I’m content to be working away in my basement, those last plus 30 days cause me to want to be down at the lake 🤣. Summer is going by to fast and I am almost fully booked for August and already have dogs booked in September. I am encouraging people to prebook at pick up time if you require a specific day of the week or time of day.
Reminder that no shows require 50% payment before booking next appointment. Not only is my time valuable but I also have many clients waiting to get in. If you are not able to make your appointment please let me know as soon as possible so that I’m able to contact those on my waitlist.

Happy Friday! This week of holidays has flown by and I’m excited to get back grooming on Monday. I am currently booking middle of August onward and will be catching up on messages today and then not till Monday. Hope everyone’s been enjoying some downtime as well as family time!

It has been a while since I posted a before and after, this handsome boy is Dozer. Pictures don’t do this boys size justice, he is probably around 100 pounds with head the size of a soccer ball and yet is the sweetest goofy boy!

I am currently booking July 17th onward so don’t delay in sending me a message if you’d like your pup to have a summer appointment. Hope everyone e is enjoying that sunshine!

The amazing weather through May and June has sure kept me busy, I am now booking into the first week of July. I will be taking holidays July 7-14 so if your pup is getting close please don’t wait to book in.
I have a waitlist going so please if you need to cancel your appointment try to give me at least 24 hours notice. I will be starting to charge a no show fee of 50% of said grooming price to be paid before booking next appointment. Saying this I am also human and know things come up so this will be at my discretion. Having dogs no show means money lost and I can no longer continue to eat that loss when I have others waiting to get their dogs in.
I work Monday-Thursday with appointments 8:00-4:00 and will be encouraging people to prebook appointments in order to ensure your pup gets in when you need.

The weather sure doesn’t make it feel like spring is here but the dogs are beginning to know it is! I am currently booking April 17th onward and expect it to be another busy spring of grooming so don’t wait to long to get your dogs booked in if they need a cut or if they are looking like Grizzly here.
*Teachers or school staff clients, as of right now I have a few limited spots left open over spring break.

Good morning, I hope everyone had a wonderful family filled weekend. Although this week looks cold and snowy I am starting to get a lot of desheds booked in and am anticipating a busy spring. I am currently booking March 1 onward and will be working Monday’s - Thursday’s so be sure to plan ahead to get pups booked in. I am currently replying to those I missed booking over the weekend, because texting is my easiest way of communicating I try to always give everyone a good amount of time to get back to me after being given times before moving to the next and always go in order that I receive them. I have been stalling since January knowing I need to make this post and yet it’s still a hard one to make. I have kept my prices the same since I worked in a shop 11 years ago but starting November 1 2022 I will need to make an increase. I strive to always provide the best experience I can to your pets, trying to have low wait times for booking appointments, usually only having one family’s pet here at a time and never charging for extras (deshed packages, nail grinding, premium shampoos/conditioners, express groomings, late pick ups). What started out as grooming some neighbor’s and friends pets casually to stay in practice after having my daughter turned into a business that is as busy as I’d like it to be at this time and that has all been through word of mouth, I have never posted my business anywhere 🤗. Those booked in for October will be their regular pricing and starting November through December when booking your dog in I will mention the increase so that you are not surprised at drop off. I can’t thank you all enough for your continued support, each one of your pets are special to me and I enjoy my time with them as well as my visits with you!

Hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving filled with family, food, and laughter! My family enjoyed several suppers and lots of outside time this weekend. I popped into the Red Deer Dog show several times and enjoyed some shopping and viewing while I had some of my tools sharpened in order to provide the best care I can to my clients. While taking the weekend off I’ve missed replying to many messages but promise to get back to everyone tomorrow. Get out and enjoy this beautiful weather while it lasts 🌞🍂🦃

I watch almost all the videos on this page, I love the way she describes her grooms as well as the gentle way she speaks to the dogs (and cats with their murder mittens🤣)
