Sooo, a funny thing happened today. I was in between grooms with Theo and his sister Keira and I went back to my supply closet to grab something. Little did I know that Mr. Theo decided to follow me and just before I closed the door he walked in for a sniff. I closed the door on him! When I got back to work I panicked for a second. I called his name and thankfully he’s a Husky cross so he gave a small “awoooo”. And I came to open the door he bounced out like it was the funniest thing. We all had a good laugh about it! 😂🐾😂

Keeping stress levels as low as possible is my aim at Steph’s Dog Grooming. Miss Molly here came in for her first groom ever. The purple head gear is called a “Happy Hoodie”. It is a compression garment that helps cut down on loud noise and calm the dog. I put it on all first time dogs and puppies. Some dogs won’t tolerate it which is fine, to each their own. Some dogs love to cuddle, especially sweet, snuggly Golden Retrievers! Molly was most comfortable hanging out on my shoulders and cuddling in close. Molly did amazing her first time and had a lot of fun! Luckily I have strong shoulders suitable for snuggly pups! #stephsdoggrooming #snuggles #goldenretriever #firsttimegroom

Morning, afternoon and evening appointments are available. Steph’s Dog Grooming is not an all-day affair for your dog. Steph only has one dog or one family of dogs at a time to reduce stress and get your dog pampered and sent home as quickly as possible. Steph has dedicated her life to the care and protection of all animals. She has worked in veterinary clinics and formerly at the Stratford-Perth Humane Society.
