Saturday was June 1st which means it’s time to start your heartworm prevention! A dogs heart is a place for love, not worms! 🪱♥️🦟

Heartworm can be transmitted through mosquitos and can take a long time for symptoms to develop externally in your pets. Preventing heartworm is a lot easier than treating it. 💊🩺

February 27th is World Spay Day! As much as we all love puppies and kittens… this specific date is chosen to draw attention to the importance of spaying and neutering pets, especially as we approach Spring!

Gabby has heard that kitties like to climb into Christmas trees and thought it looked like fun! There’s no tree in the clinic, so she thought the poinsettia up front would work just as well! What a naughty little elf! 🐱🌺

👩‍⚕️Dr Gabby Pentin👩‍⚕️

Gabby decided to play doctor today and followed our vets around helping with their wellness exams! She even dressed the part! Gabby learned how to listen to hearts, look in ears and take a temperature. We don't think she's quite ready to give vaccines yet though! Maybe next year Gabby! 🩺💉
