We’re a structured dog training facility (not a traditional daycare), and we’re on the lookout for a responsible, dog-savvy individual to join our team. This position blends hands-on dog care, calm leadership, and structured routines — perfect for someone who’s passionate about canine behavior and wants to be part of a professional, training-first environment.

At Pack’d Inn, we focus on teaching dogs how to exist calmly in a structured environment. Our programs are built around promoting long-term success through consistency, routine, and clear communication. Every day is an opportunity to help dogs and their humans live more balanced lives.

What You’ll Do:✨
-Supervise and care for dogs enrolled in our DayTrain and Boarding programs
-Reinforce calm behavior and basic training concepts throughout the day (crate, place, leash skills, etc.)
-Support our training team during DayTrain sessions and assist with dog handling/setup
-Provide daily cleaning and upkeep of kennels, dishes, and facility spaces (sweeping, mopping, laundry, etc.)
-Handle feeding, medication, potty breaks, and enrichment activities
-Interact with clients during drop-offs/pickups with professionalism and clarity
-Maintain a calm, safe, and structured space at all times

We’re seeking someone who is:✨
-Experienced with dogs (kennel, daycare, rescue, vet, or training facility experience is a plus but not mandatory)
-Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
-Calm, confident, and assertive when handling animals
-A quick learner with strong observation skills
-Willing and able to work independently and take initiative
-Comfortable learning and using a POS system, including taking payments from clients
-Reliable, communicative, and capable of managing time effectively
-Flexible with availability — must be open to working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Join us for our Puppy Foundations class which is a 6-week course that provides your puppy with the essential skills for good behaviour and strong foundations.

Each one-hour session focuses on basic obedience, socialization, and building healthy habits for puppies between 8 weeks to 5 months old. Using a balanced training approach, we help your puppy learn to be calm, focused, and well-mannered.

Over the course of 6 weeks, your puppy will be introduced to new environments, sounds, and other dogs to build confidence and improve social skills. You’ll also receive guidance on addressing common puppy challenges.

🚨 We're Hiring: Kennel & Daytrain Attendant 🚨

Packed Inn K9 is expanding our team and we're looking for 1-2 passionate individuals to join us as a part-time Kennel & Daytrain Attendant! As a key part of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the well-being of dogs in our care and supporting training activities at one of Windsor-Essex’s top dog training facilities. 🐾🐶

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Food Preparation & Hygiene: Sanitize raw food prep areas and feeding dishes after each use.
🔹 Kennel Cleaning: Clean and sanitize kennels, floors, and surfaces to maintain a safe environment.
🔹 Feeding & Monitoring: Provide proper meals and water based on individual dietary needs and monitor animal health.
🔹 Behavior Observation: Track dog behavior and report any concerns to management or trainers.
🔹 Customer Service: Greet pet owners, provide updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
🔹 Day Training Support: Assist trainers with basic behavioral reinforcement during day training sessions.
🔹 Safety & Security: Ensure all gates, doors, and pens are securely locked to prevent escapes.
🔹 First Aid: Complete K9 first aid training (if not already certified).
🔹 Regulation Compliance: Follow company policies, safety protocols, and best practices for animal care.
🔹 Maintain Cleanliness: Sanitize all play areas, kennels, and facilities to maintain a hygienic environment.
