I attended the wedding of two very dear friends this weekend and I had to share that the couple had their sweet pups June & Cash in attendance, AND there was a donkey serving beverages during the cocktail hour.!

Wishing you all a happy and safe long weekend!
Here are some quick tips to make sure your pets enjoy it too:

• Don't leave any pets in your vehicle unattended. Plan ahead so you're not tempted by the "quick 5 minute stop"! It gets hot fast.

• Make sure they always have fresh water available. Long weekends are busy, you might have guests, or extra dogs, and lots of activity happening. Those water bowls empty fast!

• Keep an eye on the amount of table scraps they're getting. Everyone likes to sneak the cute and furries a little of this or that, but too much and they won't feel so good later. Plus, let's not forget who has to clean up the diarrhea...

• Bring them indoors well ahead of fireworks (or possible thunderstorms 😑). Fireworks are fun for us, not so much for your pets. Don't forget, there may be small fireworks going off before dark sets in.
