Just a friendly reminder 💛
We love sharing photos and videos of your furry family members and we’re so glad to see how much you enjoy seeing them while you’re away. Please keep in mind that our social media posts are a complimentary service we offer simply because we know how reassuring it is to see your pets having fun and settling in. Some places will charge for photos.
Photos are typically posted around midday and stay up for about 24 hours. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to save all photos, so we recommend setting a reminder to check them out. Also, some of our guests are very camera shy (they know when the phone comes out 🤣).
Dogs will be dogs! Sometimes photos capture very real moments — including silly, awkward, or less-than-photogenic behaviour. While all play is supervised and managed, not every moment is Instagram-perfect.
While we always do our best to include everyone, with over 100 pets in our care our main priority is making sure each guest is fed, exercised, safe, and happy. On especially busy days, photos may take a back seat.

Meet Lucy 💕—a 6-year-old wiggly ball of love who’s ready to steal your heart (and probably your spot on the couch).
Lucy is the kind of dog who greets the world with a happy tail wag and a gentle nose nudge. She gets very excited to meet new people (she may still jump a little, but she’s made great progress!) and she absolutely adores kids and other dogs. Cats are an unknown for her, but everything else about Lucy screams “family dog.”
She’s fully house-broken, up to date on all her shots, and a total cuddle pro. Jowl scratches? Yes please. Belly rubs? Mandatory. Couch snuggles, fireplace lounging, and car rides? All at the top of her favorites list. 🔥🚗
Lucy loves to zoom around the backyard (no digging—your yard is safe!), but don’t expect fetch—she’d much rather have you chase her. She enjoys walks too, though she starts out excited for the first 10–15 minutes before settling into a calm, enjoyable stroll. She happily wears a choke chain for walks and actually gets excited when it’s time to put it on.
Despite being a proud chonky girl, Lucy is surprisingly dainty when she relaxes—often laying with her paws crossed, patiently waiting for your attention like the proper lady she is. Her favorite treats are crunchy Milk-Bones, and she loves a good bone to chew while lazing the day away.
Lucy is equal parts goofy, gentle, affectionate, and chill, and if given the chance, she would make an incredible addition to a loving home.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Lucy might just be your girl 🐾💗

As another year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say thank you.
To our incredible clients — thank you for trusting us with your beloved pets. Your continued support means the world to us, and we are truly grateful to be a part of your dogs’ and cats’ lives.
To our amazing staff — thank you for your dedication, compassion, and hard work day in and day out. Rain, snow, holidays, early mornings, and long days — you show up every time with care and love for the animals, and it does not go unnoticed.
And biggest thank you to my family Ava, Ivy & Mike. You guys deal with ups downs and the chaos and just roll with it.
Thanks to Daryl Kate and Isabelle for the opportunity.
We are so proud of the community we’ve built at Countryside Kennel and look forward to another great year ahead. 🐾

She loves your dogs so much that she shares their groom room for a quick hair wash. She plays fetch, chase, and throws snowballs with them. She knows your dogs and their personalities better than anyone and spoils them like they are her own.
