Here at Heather's Pet Valu in Thornhill we strive for excellence in pet health and nutrition, supplying pet owners with the appropriate food and accessories necessary for a happy and healthy pet. The store stocks a great selection of pet food, treats and accessories. Plus Heather and Ann are both super friendly and knowledgeable. If they can't answer the questions, they'll know someone who can.

Drivers Needed! 🚙🚗

Occasional drivers are needed to transport AVA cats and kittens between foster homes, veterinary offices, and adoption centres. Cats usually need to be at the vet by 9am and picked up between 3pm and 6pm. One-way and round-trip drivers needed depending on the situation.

Volunteer driver requirements:
- 18 years of age or older (We do not participate in the high school or other community service hour program)
- Valid G2 or G license and a good driving record
- Reliable access to a vehicle
- Reliable vehicle with sufficient room for 2 cat carriers
- Available on short to medium notice (4-48 hours)

In the Oshawa/Durham area, our main vet is near Taunton & Harmony in Oshawa, with fosters in the surrounding areas.

In East Toronto our main vet is at Birchmount and Danforth Road.

In the GTA, our main vet is near Rutherford & Islington in Woodbridge and transport is to various fosters, mainly in downtown Toronto. We have an additional vet at Lakeshore and Royal York.

Mileage accrued during the tax year is eligible for a tax receipt.
