Meet Cigana, a beautiful 13-year-old OTTB standing tall at 16.2hh. This lovely mare has a calm and gentle temperament and is looking for her next partner to continue her journey in a loving home.

Despite being blind in her left eye and partially blind in her right, Cigana doesn’t let it stop her. She’s a willing worker who thrives with a confident, understanding rider. She would be ideal for an advanced beginner and up, especially someone with soft hands and patience to help her shine.

Dear Students and Families,

I want to share some bittersweet news—our farm will be closing at the end of this month, and as a result, we will no longer be offering riding lessons beyond that time.

It has been a true pleasure and privilege to work with each of you, and I’m incredibly grateful for the memories, growth, and joy we’ve shared together in the arena and around the barn.

Although this chapter is coming to a close, I would be more than happy to recommend other local farms and instructors so you can continue your riding journey. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like guidance or suggestions.

HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS AVAILABLE

We teach English riding/Hunter/Jumper from the beginner to the advanced rider, serious competitors. Our riding program is tailored to meet the individual needs of each rider in a relaxed, friendly environment. Adult lessons are available! Lessons are available on proven show horse/ ponies with experienced coaches. Children ages 5 and older will practice riding techniques in your choice of group, semi-private, or private lessons.
All year round lessons, Winter in a nice indoor arena spring and summer outdoor arena.

English Riding * Beginner – Intermediate-Advanced * Jumping

To our beloved students and friends. There have been some rumours going around that Greenstone is shutting down. This is not the case. Yes we are selling some non-school horses and looking for a new property, but lessons are continuing as normal until further notice. Thank you!!

Greenstone equestrian VOLUNTEER position available:

Come join the Greenstone family! Our facility is located just 15 min outside of Barrie. This a unique volunteer opportunity to assist in a tight knit equestrian facility. Roles and responsibilities would include assisting the instructor on staff as needed, assisting young riders tacking up their horse, practicing safe horse handling, adequately demonstrating safe horse handling to young riders, and assisting with other chores as needed. Mucking stalls and feeding horses , Assets would include previous horse experience and or riding experience. Would be willing to train the right individual. We are currently searching for someone to overtake our Saturdays and Sundays position. Riding may be possible with riding candidate

You might be the right fit if you have a passion for education and teaching, working with animals, and have a strong work ethic.

We have quality horses and A Circuit pony available for part-board, Showing opportunities are available for Pony Jumpers division and a chance of participate at Royal Winter Fair next season! We currently have students showing on both the silver and A circuit. Lessons are available on proven show horse/ ponies with experienced coaches. Children ages 5 and older will practice riding techniques in your choice of group, semi-private, or private lessons.
