Our mission is to bring love and hope into the lives of innocent animals through rescue, rehabilitation and adoption with focus on semi-feral cats.

We have been rescuing stray, abandoned, feral and semi-feral cats and kittens for 12 years now. To date, we have rescued, vaccinated, spayed/neutered over 400 cats and kittens from the City of Thunder Bay. We also feed six stray cat colonies daily.

This beautiful, super friendly girl lives in the area where we feed - she wears tags and isn’t interested in food - just treats lol. Don was able to cut some of her mats off for her. 💗

We are in need of dry cat kibble for feeding the ferals. We used our last bag today and go through so much feeding the TNR locations. If anyone is able, we would really appreciate your help in helping us keep the ferals and strays fed. It is still way too warm to supplement the food with cooked, freezer burned meat so can only leave kibble. We go through a full bag every feeding. Thank you if you can help. 🙏💗

We are looking for a very special foster home for a submissive but feral, older female cat. She is currently being picked on by our other rescues and spends her days hiding under the sofa. We want so much better for her. We will supply all food, litter and pay all vet bills - but she must go to a foster home where she would be the only cat. Foster must be okay with her hiding for quite some time until she eventually learns to trust. She is not a cat you can pet or pick up but she is gorgeous and just needs a safe place. Not good news on our poor baby Emmie… we are most likely looking at cancer. Emmie’s meds are being adjusted and we will take things one day at a time. 😢😢💔💔

Still hoping and praying… 🙏

Has anyone seen this TNR’d cat? He is neutered and ear tipped. He was taken to be a garage cat in a heated garage to get him out of the elements in the winter and to be fed regularly. He got out and travelled 10 miles to get back to his neighbourhood. He was seen once but nothing since. 🥲🥲
We desperately want to know he’s okay. His neighbourhood is Dease Street and McKellar. Apparently he was abandoned about 8 years ago and has lived in that area since. Please please call or text with sightings. We are worried about him.

Gonna take a bit of work… she’s got some serious kicking skills lol. 😘

That’s better… still hisses and spits at me when I put her down though.

With looking after Layla and doing TNR, I missed posting thank yous pretty much since Layla was born. I am so worried about posting now and most likely missing someone’s name who donated during that time. So now that Layla is doing better and doesn’t need our 24/7 attention, I will do my best to start posting so as not to miss anyone again. Layla still has motility disorder and intention tremors but overall doing much better. Please accept our sincerest thank you to those who donated cat food, freezer burned meat and monetary donations. THANK YOU. 🙏💗

You’re not my mama but I’ll play with you anyway… Bear is so gentle and loves everyone. 💗💗. Mama was watching baby Layla and Bear closely. Warms our heart to see Layla start playing after finally pooping after 3 days. Poor girl… laxatives (vet prescribed) twice a day and still a struggle.

Beautiful, beautiful Hope is doing so much better after having all of her teeth removed and being spayed! Staff said she is walking around, rubbing on the kennel door. She is meowing to greet the staff in the morning and started grooming herself! Hope is up to 6.5 lbs without her jacket!!!! Yay!!! Go Hope! xoxo 💗💗💗

Poor Layla is exhausted… another vet visit today and another enema… poor kitten screamed like crazy - but hoping and praying things are looking up. She’s 2 weeks old today. 🙏

Once the sedation wore off, Fluffy wasn’t so receptive to being petted. Baby steps - we will get there. 🙏

Help from above! 🙏💗 A HUGE THANK YOU to Andrea Lane and her mom, Andi Thibault and partner, Erin Manahan, Steph (sorry don’t have your last name), Randi Roberts and Carolyn Karle. All of these people, through our contact with them at different times, were instrumental in the rescue and reuniting of mama cat and her babies. Don and I had a sleepless night with 5 screaming kittens but it was oh so worth it!!! Mama and her babies were reunited this morning after 2 long days apart! Thank you everyone! This was no coincidence.
