⭐️ OUTSOURCE ADOPTION ⭐️
Bonded pair of gerbils seeking a new home!
Their names are Burt & Ernie. They are 1 & a half years old. Will come with everything they need.
Take a look at these gecko eggs my halmahara gecko laid last night. They are infertile and will not hatch.
I found them within 5 minutes of her laying them so that’s why they are so sticky and plyable still.
Some geckos like halmahara geckos, tokay geckos, mourning geckos and day geckos will glue their eggs to the wall of their cage or a stick or something.
You can see the sticky glue stubstance on my fingers as I roll these eggs for this video.
Once glued they begin to dry and harden like cement solid to the surface of what they are laid on.
It’s been so hot this summer we’ve been having to set up a splash pad for our Sulcata tortoises! Here is Gus having a splash!
Did you know Sulcatas are known as the crying tortoise? Because when they begin to overheat their eyes begin to water as if they were crying.
However once they begin to overheat too much they will start to vomit and salvate on their legs as another attempt to cool off.
It’s always important to know and recognize the signs of heat stress and discomfort when you have your pets in the sun. Always provide water and shade as well as supervision as even a 50lbs sulcata tortoise like Gus could make a break for it while you run for a quick washroom break.
Our adoptions are closed until after Easter but this little guy will be available just after.
This is Pip, a canary. He's roughly 8 years old and would be a lovely addition to any home. 😊

Alligator snapping turtles are the largest species of fresh water turtle exclusive to the southern United States. The males average around 150 - 180 lbs. Whereas females max out around 50 lbs.
They are almost exclusively aquatic - they can stay underwater for up to 50 minutes before needing to surface for a breath of air. Except for egg laying females, it is quite uncommon for these turtles to spend time on land.
These solitary turtles have a dinosaur resemblance, with their pointed shells and long tails. They have a worm like tongue they wiggle around to try lure in prey. They have a bite force up to 1,000 pounds - while they will not attack humans, you do not want to get too close and risk a bite.
They have an average lifespan of up to around 45 years, but captive turtles have lived up to 70 years.
These turtles wild populations are declining due to habitat destruction and over harvesting for food.
