Can you lend an EAR, because what I’m about to tell you, MITE shock you !!
There are several types of EAR mites that can live in cats' , but the most common are Otodectes Cynotis, tiny, eight legged parasites that feed on the waxs and oils in the ear canal of cats and dogs.
These mites are barely detected by the naked eye and need to be seen under a microscope.
These little mites cause irritation and inflammation and can affect the internal and external ear canal and can lead to more serious skin and ear infections.
WHAT CAUSES EAR MITES ?
