We hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween!

🎃🐾 Halloween can be a fun time for us, but it can be stressful for our furry friends! Here are some tips to keep your dogs and cats comfortable:

1. Safe Space: Create a quiet area where they can retreat from the noise and commotion. Have a TV or radio on to distract from the sounds.

2. Costume Caution: If dressing up your pet, ensure the costume is comfortable and doesn’t restrict movement or vision.

3. Candy Caution: Keep all candy and treats out of reach. Chocolate and some candies can be toxic to pets.

4. Keep Calm: Stay calm during the festivities—pets can pick up on our anxiety.

Let’s keep our pets happy and safe this Halloween! 🐶🐱

Meet the staff!

We are very excited to introduce Sydney, our new phone receptionist! She is a veterinary technician who will be working with Mel. They will be making sure your pet questions and concerns are handled in a timely manner.

Fun fact: Sydney is a true Northern girl who spent her childhood summers outdoors camping, hiking and riding ATV’s.

This week is Veterinary Assistants week! We just wanted to take a moment to give our wonderful VAs, Kameron and Emily J. a shout out on our page. They are amazing and are always willing to lend a hand with restraining, wrapping surgery packs, performing daily maintenance and sometimes just giving an animal a well deserved hug! They play an important part in helping our clinic run smoothly. You girls rock!

Veterinarian’s are 2.5 times more likely to commit suicide than the general public. 1 in 10 have contemplated suicide along with 1 in 5 veterinary technicians. This is due to debt, long hours and unrealistic expectations. We need to as a community support each other and all our staff’s mental health and happiness. Someone left the delivery door open and look who snuck in! 🐰 Wishing all our wonderful clients and patients a safe and Happy Easter! Much thanks to the team at Hard Rock Animal Hospital being on call for us this weekend! The clinic will reopen on Monday April 18th at 8am.

We are working hard! Here is a video of the feature wall in reception getting installed. We made it all with reclaimed wood from on site. We are very proud of how it turned out. We do not have a projected opening date and can not take any client information or transfer requests at this time. Please continue to follow us for updates.
