"This win means everything. This is a young horse that I bought a year ago and have been bringing along very slowly; I've tried to take my time and do everything really correctly. He really steps up in the show ring and never disappoints. He's got a great canter, jumps great, and it's just a real pleasure to ride him. Thoroughbreds have great minds, and I'll tell you what -- after being here all week, they can do anything!"
Congratulations to Charles Hairfield and Still Dreaming (Flatter - Seeking Gabrielle, by Forestry), your 2020 Show Hunter champions! This 2016 16.2 hand chestnut gelding was bred in Kentucky by Hinkle Farms, and was a $460,000 yearling purchase at Keeneland by West Point Thoroughbreds, Inc. He raced for West Point Thoroughbreds and Chris Larsen, trained by Herringswell Stables, Ltd's H. Graham Motion to seven starts, including two graded stakes, with two career wins and $63,140 in earnings. His last race was at Belmont Park. Success runs in the family -- this horse is a half brother to none other than Kentucky Derby winner Nyquist, who now stands stud at Darley.
