Hello and welcome to AJ's Trail Tails!

I have been working with dogs professionally for the better part of 8 years and I love what I do!
I am a dog trainer and I do daily pack walks on trails in and around Durham as well as in Toronto.

Do you have a dog that is high energy? overweight? You aren't able to get him or her out for a good walk? Having trouble with basic training?

Winter is on the way and I love the outdoors if you don't.

I am looking to build my packs in Durham region. I specialise in off leash adventure walks and I also teach solid recall. I only take 4-5 dogs at a time to ensure their safety and so I can give individual attention.
In my packs, dogs learn to play nicely, they learn to return to me if they have gone too far. They learn to wait, stay close and mind their business (when interest shows towards other dogs and people) I pride myself on the relationships I build with my dogs and their humans.

Also! Holidays are coming soon and good, experienced, caring dog professionals are few and far between. Let me help!

Boarding is done in my house which is situated in a cul de sac in south Ajax. We have a backyard that is fenced and backs onto a forest. Surrounded by trails and 2 minutes from lake Ontario, your dog will have the best stay of it's life!

The dogs in my care are never left alone or crated. They have free roam of my house and backyard. Daily walks, marrow bones, kongs and treats are all provided by me. Pictures/videos will be sent daily to show you how much fun your dog is having!

I am comfortable with all sizes, breeds and ages. I can administer medication if needed and am happy to take on seniors. As a premium service, I only board 3 dogs at a time to ensure all get attention and love.
Safety is important to me, I am insured and animal CPR/first aid certified.

Cindy is our resident house cat and is absolutely fine with all the dogs. I have introduced her to many dogs who have never met a cat and all have walked away unscathed. :P
I typically do a meet and greet to ensure that your dog will be the right fit for my pack walks, the cat and me! Second meeting I will have you come to my house to let your dog sniff around and meet Cindy.
