Shiloh is a medium-energy sweetheart who just wants to be part of your life. Whether it’s a stroll through the neighbourhood or a cozy night on the couch, she’s happy as long as she’s by your side. She’s goofy, and smart, and gets along wonderfully with her foster brother, another potcake. Shiloh is gentle and adaptable, making her a perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal, loving best friend.

Her upcoming surgery is now scheduled for January 13th so her new home would have to be okay with her rehabilitation & rehab needs 🤍
Shiloh would thrive in any home filled with love and care. She’s currently living in a condo on Queen West with another dog and has done well meeting cats and kids. While she hasn’t lived with either full-time, her gentle nature suggests she’d do great as long as her boundaries are respected. Her ideal family should live in the GTA to support her through her upcoming surgery and rehabilitation, including physical therapy to ensure proper healing. Whether you’re in the city or the suburbs, as long as Shiloh gets 3 to 4 walks a day and plenty of love, she’ll be your happiest companion!

Hi, I’m , Sea Paws Rescue’s Mascot & Shiloh’s foster brother and I’m reaching out with a hope for a brighter future for my foster sister Shiloh.

This sweet, resilient pup was rescued from the streets of Antigua after being hit by a car. Thanks to your support, she’s in foster care and preparing for a life-changing FHO surgery, but we need your help to cover the cost! We just received the estimate for Shiloh’s surgery—it’s $6,266.11 alone without rehab cost—and her surgery is scheduled for January 8th. 🐶Personality:
Robbie is a big calm friendly puppy. He is extremely social and loves to meet new people and dogs. He is very well mannered and greets new people with a calm confident demeanour and a wagging tail! He is pretty low energy for a puppy and will happily entertain himself with his toys, find a cozy spot to cuddle up or even lay down outside and wait for whatever is next. Robbie loves to play fetch and tug and is eager to train and go on walks. He does really well in his crate and sleeps through the night and will even put himself in there for naps during the day. He plays really well with other dogs due to his highly tolerant nature. Robbie is a very smart boy and picks up on new things very quickly. He is always looking to connect and engage and loves receiving affection from his humans!

🏡Ideal Home:
Robbie would thrive in a home with another dog but would also do well being the only pup in the home. Due to his gentle demeanor and well natured manner, he would do well with children however, he will grow into a big boy and small children might be overwhelmed by him so older dog-savvy kids would be best. Robbie loves to be with his people so a home with at least one family member who is often home with him would make him very happy. Robbie is a very confident, laid back and adaptable boy and while he would love a yard to play in and just hangout, he would also do fine in a condo with lots of access to the outdoors and regular walks. Due to his leash reactivity, Robbie is looking for a family who are experienced owners and will continue to help him manage this so he can thrive.

Meet Arthur: proof that sometimes the best things come in BIG packages!😍🖤

🇲🇽Background :

Arthur arrived in Toronto in November from Mexico with help from our friends at The Dog Go project where he was rescued from our last spayit loud neuter proud clinic where he wandered into our clinic as he was being abused by his owners. He has settled into his foster home great with 0 fear and is ready to find his furever home!

🐶Personality:
Arthur is a mix of sweetness and strength with lots of energy. He loves playing fetch and running around the backyard, always up for a game or some zoomies. He’s at his happiest when he’s active and having fun. But when it’s time to relax, Arthur loves snuggling on the couch or in bed with his humans, often letting out little snores and having funny dreams. Arthur is the perfect combination of playful and cuddly! He’s also well known for stealing brooms while you’re sweeping.

🏡Ideal Home:
Arthur is a high energy dog, he needs a large, fenced yard or access to parks for exercise. Daily activities like long walks, runs, and play sessions are essential. Mental stimulation through puzzle toys and training is important. He thrives with a consistent routine and companionship, as he can get bored and start chewing things if left alone. Arthur would thrive with a family with another active dog, or an experienced dog owner who can include him in daily activities, walks, and playtime. He needs plenty of activities and time to stay happy.

✨ Rescue Guru (3 positions) - Follow SPR foster dogs on their journey from foster care to adoption. Conduct interviews with potential adopters and ensure our pups are thriving in their foster homes. (5 hours/week)
💬 Foster Screener - Help us welcome new fosters by interviewing incoming applicants.
🎉 Fundraising Manager - Collaborate with our Event and Email Marketing Managers to support fundraising goals. Fundraising experience is a HUGE plus! (10hour a month )
🌟 Event Manager - Lead our events team and take charge of all SPR events! (5-10 hours/month)
📲 Social Media Manager - Run our Meta and TikTok channels, posting daily content and sharing SPR’s mission through engaging posts and stories! Must have Social Media Marketing experience Daily)
🚗 Intake Manager - Attend and manage all intakes, create foster kits, and deliver them to foster homes. Must be comfortable lifting 50+ lbs and have a driver’s license and car. (5-10 hours/month)

So ready to be the KING of your heart!❤️ Meet adoptable King 👑 who’s been in our foster care program for over 175 days!!

Background :
King’s curiosity led him to approach the shelter in Mexico during a spay and neuter clinic and immediately allowed staff and volunteers to pet him. He was so gentle and friendly the staff were able to neuter him and a volunteer stepped up to temporarily house him until he was ready for his freedom flight!

🐶Personality:

King is a low-energy dog who spends most of his day sleeping and has no interest in toys except sometimes his Kong when he’s in the mood, however, he absolutely LOVES to be outside and revels in an extra long walk. He loves being pet and will whine and raise his paw for more attention when you stop. He is friendly with new people, allowing them to pet him after a sniff. He enjoys going on his walks although he doesn’t need long ones. He is a very easy going boy who doesn’t require much except love and affection!

🏡Ideal Home:

Because of King’s easy going nature he would fit in well in most homes. He is not much of an adventure buddy so a family with a more low-energy lifestyle would suit him best. He would love someone who works from home or can be home with him during the day so he can get the attention and affection he craves. He does not have much experience with children but would likely do well in a home with them however he would prefer to be the only dog. He does have some prey drive so he would prefer a home with no cats or other small animals.

Background :

Nala was originally rescued as a small puppy from a northerns community in Manitoba. She found a home in Toronto where she lived for the last year, but unfortunately due to a change in the family’s circumstances she need to be rehomed back into Sea Paws care where she is now thriving in her foster home and waiting to find her furever family!

🐶Personality:

Nala is best described as a sweet, calm, silly, loving couch potato - what more could you ask for! She currently goes on 2 x 30 min walks a day with another p*e break for bed and will happily snooze the rest of the day away - occasionally waking to chew on her frisbee or ask for a cuddle. Nala is food motivated and very intelligent, making learning new tricks a breeze! She loves her crate and sees it as her safe space and will take her favourite toys in there to keep them safe.

🏡Ideal Home:

Nala would thrive in a home where she can get a lot of snuggles as she can best be described as a couch potato who loves to nap the day away. She thrives in the company of humans so she would benefit from a home where at least one member of the family works from home or is home during the day. While Nala is currently being fostered in an apartment and doing quite well, she would also benefit from a yard, but one is not required as long as she has regular access to green space. Due to her love of people, Nala would love to be part of a family who will include her in their activities and advocate for her boundaries in new surroundings.

🐶Personality:

Pebbles is a typical growing puppy, full of energy but equal parts laid back and chill and is learning so much everyday! He needs mental stimulation to prevent over-tired puppy behaviors, like biting, but responds well to redirection and quickly learns desired behaviors. He loves playing with his toys, especially balls, soft animals, and squeaky toys, and enjoys tug-of-war with his human. Pebbles is learning fetch and can also keep himself entertained by chasing a ball. A budding puzzle master, he loves working for his food. At this age, he also takes plenty of naps to recharge

🏡Ideal Home:

Being a puppy, Pebbles has shown his ability to be quite adaptable. He is expected to be a big boy when fully grown, so a family that understands the size and strength that may come with that size is required. He will need consistent training as he grows. So far he makes really good choices when he knows what is expected. Pebbles doesn’t seem too phased by the city noises, just curious. He’s a confident boy and eager to please. With proper training and boundaries, Pebbles will grow to be a trusting, loving, goofy companion up for adventures.

🐶Personality:

Risa is a shy yet sassy pup who blossoms with a bit of time and familiarity. She feels most secure around her canine foster sibling, Kana, with whom she loves to play and steal toys! When she’s not having fun, Risa enjoys cozying up in her bed or crate for a nap and she loves a good snooze. She also has a playful side, especially when it comes to chasing squirrels and pigeons. With patience and a loving home, her personality is sure to shine even brighter.

🏡Ideal Home:

Risa’s ideal home would be one where at least one member of her family works from home and is able to give her the time and attention she needs to help her adjust and build up her confidence. She is currently living in a condo and is doing well despite her fear of the elevator. Because of this she might be better suited to a house or a condo on a lower floor where she can use the stairs to go on her walks. As long as Risa has plenty of access to green space she will be a happy girl. Risa is currently living with a young child and is doing well but older, dog savvy children would be ideal as she can be startled by sudden movements. While a dog sibling isn’t required, it would be helpful for Risa to live in a home with a well trained and confident pup who can show her the ropes!
