This quiche took 3 months to make, my first dish with mushrooms grown indoors, started from liquid cultures

Updates from the growing room, white oysters are almost ready to harvest, kings are peeking their heads and blues are ready to go!

My first blue oysters, I know they are not perfect

They are stalky (probably too much CO2) and the hairs on the stems are from too much humidity

Another interesting result of too much humidity is the development of mutations

They look like mini mushrooms growing on the top of the caps

First times are not perfect but are always unforgettable ♥

This winter I'm learning how to grow mushrooms indoor, going against all the advices I started from liquid cultures and two months later, there are my first blue oysters pinning!
