to last year highlights. Time flies by so fast, so we are taking the time to stop and reflect.

We have added a few pet shops to our distribution team, expanded our delivery area, added lamb to our list of flavours, introduced Mini MuttBalls, hosted our own events, and connected with so many dog owners/dogs.

We have had some doggos that don’t like eating their veggies, and don’t even like some of the veggies that are found in the MuttBalls. It was interesting to see that those doggos ate the MuttBalls so fast that they were gone in a blink of an eye.

The MuttBall is a balanced meal, so there is a little bit of everything that is needed in a dog’s diet.

It’s German Shepherd Day! These amazing breeds are smart and will become bored if their brain is not stimulated. Tag a German Shepherd that you know!

3 Fun Facts:
🐶Many German Shepherds can learn a new behaviour in only a few repetitions.
🐶They have a natural protective instinct, so they need to be socialized and trained to be comfortable around strangers and other dogs.
🐶Mouthy breed, so expect your German shepherd to mouth you and chew anything that will fit inside their mouth. It’s a natural behaviour, after all they were breed to herd. They may even use their nose to nudge you!

National Therapy Animal Day is an important day to celebrate the dogs that are there for us in a time of need.

They comfort people of all ages in a variety of settings: hospitals, pediatric care units, schools, and assisted living facilities.

Stella is a SJA therapy dog and is representing this pet holiday for us.

For today’s pick, Rocket chooses Beef. It’s the flavour he chooses the most, I guess our dog knows what he likes and sticks to it.

Every dog is different. Some like a flavour and would be happy eating that for the rest of their lives, others like to mix it up a bit to not get bored.

Devo is a 3 year old whippet and his brother Toby is a 13 year old jack Russell whippet mix. They are super supportive, and we love seeing them at our events. Their amazing mom told us that they are obsessed with MuttBalls and their ultimate favourite is the Fish flavour.

Rocket gives us this look every time he wants some food, and it’s hard to say no. He is on a strict MuttBall diet, and wouldn’t have it any other way. The two MuttBall flavours that are his go to are Beef (golden yellow) and Lamb (red).

Here is an interesting fact! It’s good to know how your doggo chooses what flavour of MuttBall he or she will devour.

Their nose does most of the decision making, so they don’t rely on their taste buds as much. The smell of food is a huge component of how dogs experience the MuttBalls.

Some of you have mentioned that the MuttBalls look similar to meatballs, and have even called them that! We like making balls of healthy food!

Happy Akita Day & !! To celebrate, we want to share 5 interesting facts from reliable sources with you. Hope some of these facts surprise you, or makes you smile.

🐶Akita Facts:

1.These Japanese doggos like to follow their owner around with the aim to protect them.

2.There are 2 types of Akitas: one is called Akita Inu or the Japanese Akita and the other one is called the American Akita.

3.They have webbed toes to be able to walk on the snow easily, and they are known as snow dogs.

4.Akita symbolizes health, happiness and longevity in Japan.

5.Hachiko was a loyal Akita that waited 10 years at the train station for his owner to return, but he didn’t know his owner had passed away. Hachiko passed away on March 8.
