When heading out, make sure your dog’s paws are protected with booties to avoid ice burns or cuts. Also, watch out for salt on sidewalks— Stay safe and enjoy the winter wonderland together! 🐕❤️

❄️ Important Winter Safety Update for Our Pup Clients ❄️

With temperatures dropping to a chilly -15°C this week, we want to make sure your furry friends stay safe, warm, and comfortable during their walks. 🐾

Here’s what we’ll be doing to keep them safe in the cold:

1️⃣ Shortened Walks: To avoid overexposure to the harsh cold, we’ll be limiting walk times, focusing on quick potty breaks and shorter strolls.
2️⃣ Jackets & Booties: We’ll make sure your pups are dressed for success! Jackets will be zipped up and booties will be on to protect paws from ice, salt, and frostbite.
3️⃣ Pre & Post-Walk Care: Warming up their paws and bodies after each walk is key! We’ll be wiping down paws to remove any harmful salt and checking for signs of frostbite.
4️⃣ Monitoring Signs of Discomfort: If your dog seems uncomfortable or cold, we’ll cut the walk short and get them indoors to warm up.

💡 Pro Tip for Pet Parents: Be mindful of paw protection—those cold, salty sidewalks can be tough on sensitive paws!
