Follow through step 1 to 4, increasing the time starting from 15 seconds then rewarding, slowly going up in intervals only when they successfully stay without crying when you leave. Keep track of the time intervals and practice daily until they are confident to stay at the point of reference without crying. If done correctly, your dog will now love to go to the point of reference and wait for you thinking of it as a task or job which he/she gets rewarded for; completely diverting their attention from you leaving by giving them something to do.

Even the youngest of puppies are acing their “complete dog” course.
Meet Chipsy and .

Chipsy started the complete dog course right after his last shots and got straight into bonding and obedience training. We then went on to the basics of leash walking, then onto recall work and finally off-leash walking.

Dale went from being defensive and aggressive to humble and calm through changing the dynamic of their relationship by exerting strong calm leadership which showed Dale he did not need to anxious or lash out in defence when others came around.
