🌬️: use an advanced HVAC system to filter harmful particles out and bring clean air in

🧽: deep clean each playroom twice a day using dog-safe cleaning products to maintain a safe playing area

👟: use comfy rubberized flooring in our playrooms so dogs won’t slip or hurt themselves on tough gravel or cement. Plus it's better for their paws and joints!

Meet Simba, our Dog of the Week!

Simba is one of the sweetest and friendliest senior pups in our pack. He comes to daycare weekly and loves participating in event days + playing with his BFFFs. Simba is definitely young at heart and loves to socialize with all his friends as well as our team. He is a great example of an older pup benefiting from frequent socialization, proving that age is just a number. There are definitely a number of benefits with socializing pups at any age. Let's all give Simba a round of applause for being such a social butterfly and a shining example of how staying active and engaged can bring joy at any stage of life. Hot weather affects all dogs, but did you know certain features make some pups more vulnerable to the heat? 🤔☀️⁣

👃Breeds with short noses and flattened mouths, such as Pugs, Boxers, and Shih Tzus, can have a bit more difficulty breathing during the summer. ⁣
⁣
🐶Labs, Siberian Huskies, and Bernese Mountain Dogs have double coats, which makes them more susceptible to heat-related issues. Hot air gets trapped under the thick layers of fur, making it more difficult to regulate their temperature. ⁣
⁣
😎 Keeping your pup cool during summer is important for their health and wellbeing. Keep clean, fresh water nearby in a shaded area, and use a damp towel on the floor and/or a fan to cool them down. ⁣
