Rest east, Gator. 🙏🏻

We are shocked, angry, and heartbroken to learn of the killing of Police Service Dog, Gator, in Campbell River, British Columbia earlier today as he was assisting in the arrest of an armed suspect. Our thoughts are also with a Member injured in the incident and we wish them a full recovery.

PSD Gator was a hero in his community. He tracked and rescued a resident lost in a snowstorm; has found missing residents, and successfully tracked down or contained innumerable suspects and criminals. He loved his job as much as he loved his favourite orange ball.

Police Service Dogs are an incredible and important asset to our Members and their communities. They bring finely honed skills that only dogs can offer. Their innate sense of smell, exceptional hearing, their speed and agility in small spaces and heavy foliage, their sheer strength— not to mention their loud bark — makes them indispensable in maintaining public safety.

Police dogs are highly trained to assist police in the search for suspects, drugs, and explosives, as well as locating missing adults and children.

Although such incidents are rare, this tragic loss follows the killing of PSD Jago by less than a month making it even more painful. Our condolences go out to Gator’s handler and partner and all those who loved and worked with him.

We encourage our community to wear red tomorrow to honour Gator and all fallen Members, and we will provide more info about that soon. Rest in peace and comfort, Gator. You were a very good boy.

We Have officially collaborated with the OSPCA. 10% of our profits will be donated to the OSPCA on a bi monthly basis. This means we are completely operational in the capacity we had hoped for. If you’d like to place an order please get in touch via email at [email protected]. 1/2 of a pound of peanut butter or pumpkin dog cookies are $22.12+hst which equals a nice round $25.00.
3oz of raw dehydrated organ meat (liver, heart, lung of lamb, or cow) are $13.50+hst for a grand total $15.25.
For those of you who had issues with the peanut butter and pumpkin cookies developing mold after a week or so, I am actively working to remedy this issue. I have established a number of ways to dehydrate cookies after baking which will eliminate this problem.
If you purchased dog cookies from me in the past and lost them due to mold please let me know I would like to remedy this by reimbursing you with cookies or dehydrated treats which will not mold.
I am looking forward to providing all of your doggies with treats… Just to have said the kitties are absolutely loving the dehydrated organ meats in small amounts.
I’m so grateful for the support I’ve received thus far and I look forward to making Your pet happy with delicious snacks.
