In our final video, we wanted to share what happened after Molly’s puppies were weaned and started on their next journeys.
Molly moved to a foster to adopt home where she had a furry brother to play with and two human kiddos to continue her mom skills. Molly was spayed and got lots of love during her recovery.
Today Molly loves long walks, wrestling with her brother, cuddling on the couch and exploring the outdoors. She is such a grateful girl who begins her days with kisses and tail wags. It is like she knows that so many people helped her along her amazing journey from her remote community to where she is today - the clinic team, Northern Reach, her previous owner, her fosters (many), veterinary care team and sponsors.
There are so many dogs like Molly that we would like to continue to help and support. Please considering donating so we can continue to intake more dogs and puppies into our care. Donations are eligible for a tax receipt 🧾

This is Molly’s story.
One year ago today, Molly went into labour.
But Molly’s story is an important one - that we will tell in multiple parts.
A year ago July, Molly came to our rescue as a medical care case from frontline rescue @northernreachnetwork
Molly was a young, small female dog with a leg injury. Her loving owner spoke with a mobile spay & neuter clinic in his community of Fort Hope. Molly was injured and it wasn’t improving. He wanted to ensure she was healthy and knew there was no vet care in his community,
Molly was flown out to Thunder Bay and waited to come south. At the end of July, she started the long trip south to our care. She travelled with many other dogs on the Bark Bus from Thunder Bay to the GTA.
We were in for a surprise. An appointment was made with the consulting orthopaedic surgeon and an inital veterinary assessment revealed Molly was pregnant!
Plans had to change. Molly was relocated to a whelping foster and we waited…
On August 23rd, 2023, she went into labour. This is part 1.
With your support, we are able to help dogs like Molly. Dogs who require medical assistance. Dogs from places & communities with limited veterinary care. We are a small but mighty rescue that relies on our community to be able to help dogs like Molly.

Many dogs like Amber, benefit from having a balanced foster sibling to help show them the way! This was certainly true for Amber and this video shows it ofd the why perfectly ❤️
We are always looking for foster families to help support our dogs. Please head to our website if you are interested ✔️
Wabusk loved having a foster sibling to hang out with a play! This little cutie is adjusting really well to city life. Being fostered with kids, exposed to the sights & sounds of Toronto and is doing so well.
Who wants a pint sized buddy?
What is April like with cats?
Well April got to meet a visiting cat - and April didn’t express any interest in the cat 🐈🐈⬛ She didn’t chase or bark. April was also previously fostered as a puppy in a home with several cats so it's safe to say that April is cat tested :)
We love questions about our adoptables - keep them coming ❤️🐾
🆘Seeking: large dog loving pawrent(s)
Cooper loves a few walks, some outdoor time to chill & appreciate the fresh air and to hang out with you at home 🏠
Sounds pretty perfect right?

Moving from place to place is difficult for most dogs. We have a new sense of urgency to find Dougie his forever home as his wonderful foster is moving.
We are on a time crunch but really hoping we can help place Dougie into his forever home before the move date.
Dougie comes with extensive obedience training, is crate and house trained. He has been exposed to horses and other dogs. We think he would absolutely thrive in a home that can continue his training and routine set by his professional trainer @hopeverra_dogtraining
We know the power of social media - and we have been asking a lot lately but please don’t stop sharing Dougie. He has worked so hard for this.
POV: you get to chase sunsets with Dougie for the rest of the summer 🌆
We are determined to find Dougie’s person/people.
We know we aren’t far. Every share helps. Every comment. Every tag. Let’s get Dougie into the group chat, send him to a friend.
🙏Please keep sharing Dougie🙏
