Fridays are walk days! Walks are great for me! Not only do I burn off energy, I get to socialize and learn from people and other dogs! The world is very scary to me, but walks help me realize that nothing is going to hurt me, and it's ok to let my guard down.

Snow is my favourite! I'll often lick and eat snow, or even play with snowballs! Sometimes my foster parents give me an ice cube to chew, it's one of my favourite treats!

I've gotten to the point where my foster parents can let me outside by myself! I'll happily walked around the fenced yard, do my business, and then come back in all by myself!

Playing outside with my foster siblings is my favourite! Here I'm playing with my sister Luna and brother Tycho. I love to play wrestle, and I'm always very gentle, especially with dogs that are smaller than me. Other dogs at home is a MUST for me, I learn a lot from them and love to play.

Well hello there!

If you don't know me, my name is Wolfgang (my parents call me Wolfy)! I'm a foster dog in Ontario, looking for my forever home. I've had a bit of a hard life, but I'm doing very well living with my foster parents!

The most important thing to know about me is that I get scared very easily! Unexpected bumps or noises scare me, but I realize they're not going to hurt me very quickly and go back to normal. Sometimes even a sneeze or getting up quickly can make me run off to my safe space!

I've made a lot of progress on becoming a good pet dog! I'm fully house trained, crate trained, and I learn the do's and don'ts of the house very quickly. I learn very quickly about where I'm allowed and where I'm not (namely couches and beds)!

I love to play with other dogs, and they definitely help me learn. My current foster sister and I love to play, we often wrestle and play bite at each other. I haven't had any serious fighting incidents, and I love meeting new dogs.

I know I look all proud and tough, but I'm really a big softie. I love my foster parents, even though it took some time for me to open up. I'm much better with new people now, I warm up very quickly, especially if you have treats to share!

Walk time! If you need someone to help you go for walks and stay healthy, I'm the dog for you! I love walks, I'll often go for 2 a day! I'm very well behaved on them, and I love to go up and meet new dogs and new people.

My foster parents captured this adorable moment of me almost falling asleep while standing up. I get very sleepy at the end of the day, and I can sleep anywhere! On my bed, in my cage, on the floor. Anywhere is a bed for me.

Did you know that I LOVE snow?? ❄️ ❄️❄️

It's one of my favourite things. I'll often just run around outside with my foster parents and play with my foster sister. Sometime's I'll even just eat it, or pick up ice and snow and carry it around. I'll spend hours just running around and making little snow trails for me to zoom through.

It takes a lot to tire me on a walk! I can keep walking for hours, and I never lose enthusiasm. I'm very well behaved on walks too. I understand leashes really well, I often get tied up or get my legs caught in the leash, but I can always figure it out on my own.

I do pull a bit, but I'm working on it with my foster parents. If I ever get too strong or pull too hard, they just bring me in close beside them, and then I walk very calmly.

It turns out the holidays are one of my favourite times of the year! I love the excitement, the opening presents, the smells, and especially the treats. Sometimes I get a little scared if people get loud, but I'll just go lie down on my bed, or walk away for a few minutes. I always come back, I love to be with my family.

Here I am on a walk with my friend Tycho. I love going on walks with other dogs. I'll often want to go off on my own and explore, and then come back and say hello to my dog friends. Sometimes, I'll just walk side by side with them the whole way!

I love my new bed, it's one of my safe spaces that I rotate through between the day! You'll often see me go from one safe space to another, looking for attention or treats in between.
