Before working with me, my client described Millie as anxious, lacking confidence, being doorbell reactive and not so good on the leash. Oh... and the kicker, she pees on the fancy living room rug even after being let outside... what's up with that?

Upon further probing, the client jokingly described the household (three children and a husband) as suffering from ADHD. While she may have been kidding, my take was that it's loud, inconsistent, and stressful for the dog. Was the behavior all just out of frustration?

Did we need everyone in the house to change? Did we need the environment to be different?

No... we just needed someone to step up and be the Peaceful Alpha for Millie.

Teach Your Children (it's a commandment). Just like dogs, they are never not watching you. So, it's really about how you live, your presence, and then living in a way where there's an understanding that you're programming their subconscious with ALL of your choices and actions.

Anyway, I got a text this morning from Greta's mom. The once feisty schnauzer didn't want to leave Peaceful Alpha's haven after her one week board and train (of which my kids participated).

After some coaxing away from my apartment, Greta's mom walked her perfectly past several dogs, then rode the subway home without a peep. Something she'd never imagined she'd be able to do.

I made some live footage of this feisty schnauzer's rehab into a YouTube video for my community to see some of my personal teachings come alive.

I'm also involving my children, who are wise enough to be cautious with the dog, yet loving and sensitive enough to want to help her.

What's the lesson? How to deflate aggression!

Agression's root is fear. Thus, your ability to provide others with calm reassurance will make them feel safe, and thereby eliminate their need to be aggressive. This earns merit and leadership points. Making others feel safe is what it's all about. That's unconditional love.

Throwback to 2016 when I owned Woof & Shloof - my Dog Daycare, Training and Grooming Center in Toronto.

At the current time, I was deep on the path of spirituality and hopeful enough to believe that I could influence my eclectic group of dog groomers. I would say I was mildly successful, with great effort.

Woof & Shloof was my baby, but my spiritual studies consumed me, my chronic pain plagued me, and through a variety of life experiences my heart had blackened to the point of rock bottom.

After drinking enough ayhausca to satisfy the ancestry, I decided to sell my business, embrace my karma, rid myself of any worldly possessions, and embark on the noble path of discovering ONEness with the Prime Creator and all things. I'm making incredible progress and this mystery never ends by the way.

During that time I wrote a Self Growth book for dog lovers called "Enlightened Dog Training". Link in the description.
