From an IKEA Cupboard to Serving the GTA 🌱
What started in 2019 as a small dream growing microgreens in an IKEA cupboard has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined.
Over the years, with your incredible support, The Six Farms has proudly provided premium-quality microgreens to thousands of retail customers and hundreds of hospitality businesses across the GTA.
But this journey has always been about more than farming.
Together with our incredible nonprofit partner, GlobalMedic, and with the support of amazing volunteers and our dedicated team, we have donated thousands of microgreens to food banks and communities in need, helping make fresh nutrition more accessible to families across our region.
We truly believe we are helping shape the future of farming in Canada — one that is local, sustainable, innovative, and community-driven.
None of this would have been possible without your trust, encouragement, and support over the years. Every order, every recommendation, every kind message has helped us continue growing.
And this is only the beginning.
We have several exciting innovations and projects currently in development — some soon to be announced once patents are filed — that we believe could help create a new norm in farming across Canada and beyond.
