UPDATE: We’ve got names! The boy is Raspberry and the girl is Blueberry
I haven’t thought of names yet, but thank you for working with me as I introduce polywhite dominant rex hams to Ontario! I’m super excited to start this project!

The first pic is an umbrous black polywhite long haired dominant rex male, and the second is an umbrous black long haired female from a different litter ❤️. I already have Frankie, so be on a lookout for this new and exciting project!

I realized I haven’t updated this account for a while as I’ve been away for a work trip and well, Orzo unfortunately lost all of her babies 😞.

Last month, I’ve met up with and then to make an American exchange happen, and here are the hams I’ve gotten, in the order of the pics:

I’ve had many mamas that come and go here at the hamstery. I do want to feature Coconut Cream this year. She made 10 beautiful babies (though 1 tragically passed away at 3.5 weeks). She is one of the calmest hams I’ve ever had the pleasure of producing.

So, it seems like @carflar is correct and I may have a curly wurly baby 👀 It’s interesting how recessive genes work- the curly gene, rex (rx) appeared in Pot Pie’s maternal grandfather and Unicorn’s grandfather (paternal side) and grandmother (maternal side)! This is why to do things ethically, pedigrees are so important (amongst other things) That’s my tiny lesson of the day! #happysaturday
