To ensure the best possible service, each time we visit a customer we always bring along the following:
-nail clippers; small, medium, large.
-treats; used as a positive reinforcement.
-soft plush blanket; to securely wrap small animals or cover heads used as a calming method.
-kwik stop powder; on rare occasion accidents do happen.
-nail file; to perfect any jagged edges.
-scissors; helpful to trim away any excess hair.

I started Happy Paws to offer a convenient way for pet owners to have their furry friends nail trimming needs taken care of while saving time, money and keeping their pets comfortable at home. I come to you for less than the cost of a trip to the vet and each visit takes only 10-15 minutes of your time. I provide all the necessary tools, equipment and am comfortable working with pets that have been labelled "difficult" by others. I have a vast experience working in shelters and at a veterinary hospital with hands on training. Your pets nails should be trimmed every 6-8 weeks to prevent ingrown nails/infections, discomfort while walking and other issues resulting in expensive vet bills. When it comes to nail clipping, every pet's length is different; some pets may have very long quick's due to irregular wearing, or grooming and maintenance.
