Bailey’s here to tell you that age is just a number! This distinguished gentleman is 14.5 years old and just recovered from a major orthopedic surgery! Age is not the determining factor when deciding anesthesia risk, the patients internal health is much more important. Luckily Bailey has very dedicated owners who helped him through his recovery. Way to go Bailey!

You’d think that the pet of a veterinarian would be a super angel and cause her owner absolutely no trouble?? Welll… meet Sammy, Dr. Marshall’s most energetic nutty girl who stole and chewed up a lithium ion battery! Luckily Dr. Marshall is well versed in the many things pets can ingest and knew to call Pet Poison Control to find out how dangerous the situation really was. Pet Poison Control will take all of the important information (type of pet, age, weight, toxic materials present) and will figure out how serious of an emergency the situation may be. Good thing in Sammy’s case, she did not eat the battery, and she will be A-Ok!

The photo on the wall? It hangs upstairs in our cat room and features one of the clinic’s most beloved patients. His name was Major and he used to board at the clinic quite a bit. Cheeto was just a wee kitten when he met him and we always used to joke that they had grandfather and grandson energy. It’s been a few years since he passed, but Cheeto still pays his tributes.

Who said spa days where just for manicures? Clover comes in for her regular ear pluckings! The Barbet breed has such luscious hair, is even grows down in their ear canals! As you see from the second photo, we got her routine down perfectly, and it even comes with a massage!
