Today we had a cystotomy. This is the surgical procedure to remove bladder stones. In this case 2 stones were removed. Other times there are much more than just 1 or 2. Usual clinical signs can be frequent urination and bloody urine. After surgery it is crucial that the patient is on a strict prescription diet LIFE LONG and urine tests at leats 3 - 6 months to monitor for crystals.
