Last day at Woofs for Ben. So happy for Ben and his family. So sad to see him go. Ben wasn’t just a great employee, he was. He is also a great father & husband, canine advocate, a friend and a client favourite for sure! Ben made everything easier for everyone, and was always willing to help when asked. Most importantly, the dogs loved him dearly.

We’re going to miss Ben - a Woofs legend for sure!

Today we mourn a Woofs OG - Sir Darbyshire; aka Darby, aka Darbs. Always down to play no matter what. Dogs loved him, our walkers loved him. He was such a joy to have in the park - easy peasy, and you could count on Darbs to bring the energy. We're going to miss you like crazy, little buddy.❤️

One of my favourite parts of my mornings

Little treat hunt today at the beach, it helps the dogs engage their noses which always helps to calm them down & ground them. Sniffing works their brain, so these exercises actually help tire them out also. Never do this when around dogs that are not with you as some dogs can be food aggressive. However if you and your pup have some alone time try throwing some treats into the grass and watch them get their nose to work. Can be very helpful with distractions like traffic, small animals or after a stressful or high energy play session to help them balance their stress levels again.

Happy 5th Birthday to our amazing Jessie- bear miss Egyptian rescue, emergency alert barker and generally one of the boys favourites!!! Disclaimer: whilst Jessie’s body language seems to display discomfort/nervousness this is her general personality & state of mind and she is the one dog where I have to throw all my body language learning half out the window because she doesn’t ‘dog’ like other dogs do. She loves the boys and enjoying quiet time on my bed being treated like the Princess she is.
