Dog-U-cated is owned and operated by Paul Carter, a lifelong pup enthusiast and certified dog trainer who's been honing his craft from a young age. Bailey, Lorenz, & Kohler - he began to see that these techniques could come off as harsh or unnecessary and sought a way to improve the dog training world. Through trial & error and his own research, he dedicated himself to finding a more humane and ef
fective way to train problematic dogs, finding pros and cons in each style and adapting his own. Educated in Woodhouse, Saunders, Monks of New Skete, Dunbar, Cesar's, and Pryor training methods, Paul appreciates that your pooch is like no other and needs a specialized approach and that each dog will respond to some methods better than others. Raised with working animals throughout his life, Paul Carter believes that a good dog is one with purpose; it can be as simple as being a good, loyal friend, to herding sheep, to being your lifeline through animal service. Dogs like to feel useful and like to help you, and providing them with a need in life can eliminate many common anxiety and behavioural problems found in the today's dog. Paul provides a hands-on approach with your pup to make sure he receives the best training for both of you, and to ensure you're never afraid to handle your pet. Holding a certification from the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers and the love of a good dog, a Dog-U-cation will help you and your dog become BFF's.
