Hi Birch Dan Fam! Its a spooky season and hope all you gouls🧟‍♀️ and goblins🧟 have a safe and happy HOWL-Loween 🐺 weekend. We hope to see this upcoming week all of our lovely clients and patients dress up in their costumes and give us a good FRIGHT!!

Although Halloween is a time for fun scares, and trick or treaters sometimes our pets don't appreciate that! If you have any questions in how to mitigate anxiety give us a call or email!

Hi Birch Dan Fam! This coming Monday we will be closed for Thanksgiving. At Birch-Dan Animal Hospital we are thankful every day for the ability to provide animals with care and love. We would also like to acknowledge the land we are standing on today is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples.

September 13th one of our lovely patients came in with a lump the size of a tennis ball. Our care team preformed a lumpectomy surgery to remove this mass. After care and love, we were able to see amazing results over the span of a month.

Interesting fact! Did you know that some masses are benign and some are malignant. It is always best to test or proceed with proper testing/treatment to ensure they do not spread to other areas of the body, bother your pet or become cancerous.

Nothing a little loving, care AND medication can't fix! Precious Luna came in with immune mediated paronychia. After being sent home with a paw treatment regimen, Luna has now since grown back her fur around her paws and is feeling happier and is a new cat.

Hey Birch-Dan Fam! As we get into the long weekend please be advised we are open Saturday 9-3pm and closed Sunday and Monday for Canada Day! We are back to our regular hours Tuesday July 2nd 2024.

We advise if your pet has any medical emergency to bring them to the nearest emergency hospital.

Tips to prepare you in advance!
If you have an emergency please bring your pet to the nearest emergency hospital.
If you want to receive food before Tuesday May 21th 2024 , please give us a call at 416-266-1377 before Wednesday May 15th 2024 to insure you'll have your order for the long weekend.

Everyone say HI to our newest member of the Birch-Dan Fam! Stella is to die for. She had her first vet visit at 7 weeks receiving DHPP and deworming and was a tough cookie!

to clarify .... the clinic will be closed to appointments Thursday 12th 2023 through monday16th 2023 , however we are open for food pick ups between the hours of 10AM AND 2pm on the 12th and the 13th.we go back to regular hours as of the 17th I hope this helps to clear up any confusion.
