Kygo, the Golden Retriever, is concentrating really hard to let everyone know that the clinic will be closed tomorrow, February 15th from 12pm to 1pm. Our staff will be attending a continuing education on dental health for our patients. During this time our door will be locked and we won't be answering our phones. Please plan accordingly, and we apologize for any inconvenience this short closure may cause you.
🎃 HAPPY HALLOWEEN 👻 From the pets at Woodbine Animal Clinic!!
Enjoy the night and stay away from the chocolate! 🍫☠️
Born to a feral cat just a few minutes' walk from Woodbine Animal Clinic, 5 kittens (3 males and 2 females) are available for adoption November 12-18. The kittens love people and are in excellent health. If you are interested in adoption, please contact their rescuer and current caretaker at [email protected] for more details. And don't worry - mom will be spayed shortly. #adoptdontshop #kittens #blackcatsrule #kittensofinstagram #veterinaryclinic #veterinaryhospital
Tomorrow
The clinic will be closed from 12pm to 1:30pm on Thursday, March 17th 🍀 for continuing education. Apologies for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
Thanks, @hillspet, for the sweet recognition! It’s Vet Tech week and our techs definitely deserve to be treated.
Consider this:
A Veterinary Technician is a nurse… but of *multiple species*!
They are vital to the care of every pet in the clinic, doing everything from bloodwork and bandages to anaesthetic monitoring, urinalysis, dispensing medication, and dental cleanings.
These dedicated, caring medical professionals are integral to the care of your beloved pets so please show them your appreciation whenever you can.
Enjoy your treats, Marjorie and Beth!
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Many of you have asked whether we will be returning to “normal” tomorrow as Ontario moves forward with another phase of re-opening.
Unfortunately, we will NOT be returning to pre-COVID practices just yet. All of our COVID-19 protocols will remain in place until further notice.
We are extremely short-staffed, experiencing high volumes of client communication, as well as issues with some of our supply chains so we ask for your continued patience and cooperation with our protocols and timelines.
Thank you,
The Woodbine Team
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CLIENTS:
We are extremely short-staffed and still experiencing constant, high volumes of communication.
Please refrain from sending duplicate messages as redundant contact slows the response times for everyone.
You will see some new faces and hear some new voices around here and we ask you to please be patient and respectful as we welcome and train our new staff members.
Please remember that everything takes more time so ALL food orders, medication refills and paperwork requests must be placed ONE WEEK in advance. Please do not allow yourself to run out of medications or food and refrain from last-minute calls and walk-up shopping.
Thank you for your cooperation,
The Woodbine Team
***We will be closed 12pm to 1:30pm tomorrow, Wednesday, June 30th for a staff meeting. ***
***We will also be closed on July 1st ***
Please plan accordingly if you need to reach us or if you’re coming by for a pick-up.
Wow, it’s hard to believe it’s JUNE!
Just a few reminders about the protocols we still have in place to maintain human distancing and manage the unusual demands of this time.
- Our operating hours have been reduced.
Currently we are open 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday and closed on weekends.
- Our doors are still locked and humans are not permitted inside the clinic. Upon arrival, please knock and stand back. Please be mindful of distancing out on the sidewalk and around our entrance as there may be other people and animals waiting.
- We have suspended online scheduling for the time being so that we can assess each booking on a case-by-case basis. We ARE offering full services again, including annual exams, spring bloodwork, and surgeries. Please call us to determine if and when your pet should come in to see us.
Thank you for your continued cooperation with our efforts to meet the needs of your pets while doing our part in fighting COVID-19.
-The Woodbine Animal Clinic Team
