I found a broken cabinet in the trash and stripped the glass and the tracks holding the glass, another time I found a table unscrewed it n cut it into shapes to make a reptile enclosure that could remove the middle wall for larger options. I also used part of a broken TV as a light and waterproof lid. It wasn't that pretty so I tried to sell it for 50$ it didn't sell. So I spent about 50$ painting and sealing it. Designed trims on autocad and a new locking mechanism.
Now I'm extremely happy with it and wouldn't sell it at all. Going to make some cool bio active homes for my main crested Gecko breeders. Slowly I'm downsizing and giving my breeders better homes! It's going to be a long journey but excited to have a lot less animals in better homes.

Toronto Sun yes it was I, But just to put things into perspective. I have raised Sophie for 12 years so she has no fear of humans. She is one of the sweetest animals you could ever meet. She eats one large rat every 3 weeks so any cat or dog is much more murderous. It was 11:30 PM and I walked into the subway normally without any problems from any TTC staff or passengers. With her on me honestly most ppl don't notice her because she is quiet. She is a bci Boa Constrictor which there are no records of any deaths by this specific breed of snake. Sophie is not dangerous. (You would have to have a rat or bird in your hand to instigate her). I kept her on me and was watching to make sure that she wouldn't grab onto the ttc poles. The TTC is long and if anyone was scared they could easily get distance but everyone was lovely as they usually are when we go out. If a snake was fearful or stressed it would not feel comfortable exploring. It would squeeze and tense up like any fearful creature or try to quickly get away. Every time I take Sophie out she takes people that are afraid of snakes and turns them into snake fans or at least Sophie fans. I dont push her on anyone and if someone is scared I'd avoid them. Snakes are clean and their skin is made out of the same thing as your nails, keratin. Humans secrete oil on everything we touch. Most snakes shouldn't be taken out in public, but Sophie and any of my snakes are not like most snakes. I've raised them since birth and put time into them as if they are my little family members. Comparing them to wild animals is like Comparing a wolf to a domestic poodle. Anyways due to the people that don't understand how harmless she is I'll keep my snakes tucked away on the subway. Never meant to bother anyone and as usual the ones bothered are ones that were not there, don't know anything about snakes or are part if the reptile community that feels we should hide our animals from the public for the sake of being able to keep them. The fact is that snakes at least pet snakes raised properly are cleaner & safer than 90% of the dogs you see on walks. (Maybe not 20 foot ones or venomous ones). They all have different personalities as well. Thanks!

In the evening on the weekends if the weather is perfect, I'll take a larger snake that has eaten and recently pooped out to go for a nice walk so I can meet people, hand out business cards for the salon, find potential snake customers. I've done business the past decade by showing people that I can cut hair on the street, and how wonderful snakes can be as well. The funny thing is if I approached strangers to promote my salon they'd be taken back but with a snake they all come to me happy to interact. May seem strange to most but it works. And after what covid did to my businesses I'm back out there re building them. If you need a great hairdresser or a pet snake, DM me!

1st day of a snakes life is the most effective time to start establishing a relationship. In this video I take you through the process I go through with every snake I produce.
