Happy Tail of the Day -- featuring Azula! 💙 Azula was adopted from PetSmart Leaside. Adapting into her home in the beginning was a bit of a hurdle, and Azula is still skittish at times. But she has grown into a real cuddle bug. 🐈❤️ Azula and her adopted sibling, Ember, were wary of each other at first, but now they've grown to like one another and do play fights on occasion. Thank you to Azula's adopter, Jason, for sharing her lovely story and becoming her family! ❤️ Adopting rescue cats give them another chance at life, to feel loved, and to have a family. February is the month for healing hearts, and we’re aiming to raise $30,000 to support the care and treatment for the cats who’ve found their way to TCR. ❤️‍🩹 Several cats who were victims of hoarding came from poor housing and care conditions. The cats were (and still are) in dire need of proper nourishment, medical treatment, and most of all–love. 💔 All the cats were found covered in fleas and infected with ear mites. 💔 During and after their rescue, the cats were shy and nervous—but they weren't aggressive. These cats simply need time, support, and love to trust again.
