Did a private training session with this little rockstar yesterday! 😄🫶

This is Pixel (aka Pixie 🐾)

We worked on:

♦️Barking at: knocks on the door, sounds outside, guests coming in
♦️Attention seeking barking
♦️Place command, or "mat"
♦️Jumping
♦️Excited/submissive urination
♦️Situational separation anxiety

Her mum Tiffany has her well on her way to becoming an amazing therapy dog ☺️💕

Practicing some stationary commands with added distraction and duration ☺️ Their place work is always solid, and their stand-stays are coming along nicely 😄

Lots of construction in the city all the time, plus being nearby schools with screaming kids and lots of people, it's always a great opportunity for training!

So important to focus on your individual dog and your relationship with them rather than compare to others. Any progress is progress and the more you celebrate it with your dog, the more of it you'll get. It's all trial and error, and you're not alone. Ask a professional for help!

Had a pack walk today with a couple of training clients from my building and it went fantastic! ☀️☺️

All three dogs are a bit dog reactive. Adheera (yellow lab) and Romeo (Husky) have gotten much better. Our newest pack member, Pogo (in the blue coat), has had so much progress in the past couple days especially!

We started off pulling and barking like crazy and were all hanging out calmly by the end! The magic of pack walks! 🐾😄

So proud of all of you guys for trying new strategies and tools while building the relationships with your pups and your neighbors!
