Holly's Hope: For Animals in Need

Holly's Hope: For Animals in Need Founded in May 2012, Holly's Hope is a registered company whose purpose is to produce events which raise funds for, and awareness of, animals in need.

Holly’s Hope is the namesake for Holly Berry, a big red Doberman who had a rough go of it through much of her life, eventually landing on a Doberman rescue site at the age of eight, when her person passed away. Although Holly had medical and emotional issues when she came into my life, she was quickly socialized, rehabilitated, and spent her next three and a half years running, playing, making

friends with animals and and people big and small - finding love and joy in her life. She became my constant companion, traveling across Canada with me and teaching me more about myself and the world than I had learned in my previous 25 years of international touring. The times we spent together, were fun-filled, adventurous, and life changing. I always say, “We saved each other”. Holly’s Hope is her legacy. Her company. Her gift to those who are still with us.

we had a fun...with some wild winds...day today at Pet Palooza. We took photos of lots of super cute puppers in support of Bullies In Need. I could NOT have done any of it (and i would have had a mental breakdown) with my amazing Grace - not the song - the person Grace Mota - Ricky GM. We had some winds that made things difficult, but Grace....well if you need a fist mate and your boat is a sea...call her. Thank you Jenny B for including Hollys Hope as your photographer, and as always, so happy to be in the company of my friend Julie Lotton - nail clip lines ups non stop because she is the best. I'll post photos tomorrow. I am absolutely beat. Julie made it possible to take photos and print them outside because of her generous donation of her 1000 Jackery power bank. Now i want one! 💕🐾🤣

Even with the stormy weather and snow - People showed up for V-day Photos at Pet Valu - College Street. We have a great community there. Much thanks to Jessica Pesic for being the best store manager evah! and to our amazing volunteers who kept the show rolling - Julie Lotton for the amazing Nail Trims (and for being an incredible friend to Holly's hope and all the orgs we raise funds for), to Trancis Francis Des Ruisseaux for Printing and carding photos for our guests, to Gordon Foster - who collected donations and everyone's info., and to our newest (and fantastic) volunteer Nicole Livingstone - who jumped in everywhere from the Nail clipping table with Julie to heart beading doggos for their photos. Welcome aboard, Nicole - thanks for joining us. PHOTOS COMING SOON!!! Proceeds from the V-day photo event will be heading over to help the pups at Bullies In Need
