Dude With The Doxies-Private Dog Walks In The Beach CPR & FIrst Aid Certified-Private Dog Walks in The Toronto Beaches The primary goal for me is to let your animal make the decision. Just send me a DM.

I'm offering private dog walks in The Beaches and would love the opportunity to do a 1x1 private walk with your dog. If we meet and your pet isn't connecting with me, then no hard feelings. I want to make sure your furry family member is comfortable and enjoying themselves above all else. I don't have any interest in doing massive group walks as I know my limitations and I also don't believe that'

s enjoyable for the animals and I would rather take the time to let the dogs enjoy themselves. I don't want to rush the dogs or be more concerned about getting somewhere else. If they want to stop and sniff or just relax in the sun for a minute or two, then I'll sit down with them and hang out. I have my animal CPR and first aid certification so you rest assured your pet is in good hands. I'm working remotely at Queen and Woodbine so I can easily walk around the neighbourhood and meet up. You've probably seen me walking (or sometimes carrying) my two girls around the neighbourhood and beach, I'm the dude with the doxies.

This has been a big week. When Hermes and I first met he was incredibly reactive. After being abused and attacked as a street dog in Greece, as well as being attack by two off leash dogs in Cherry Beach, he was constantly in attack mode whenever other dogs would get near him. I had to learn a lot of the commands in Greek and we've come a long way from when we started.
This week, we went for an hour to the Toronto Beaches. Plenty of other dogs around and not a single bark or lunge. He remained calm and sat when asked.
Then we went down Queen street and not a single incident. He walked by dogs that were tied up on the sidewalk outside of stores and he didn't even take a second look at them, even when they started to bark. Progress.

I am very proud of him but still lots more work to be done. I would also like to remind dog owners in the beach that having your dog on a leash on the beach and parks (unless designated as off leash areas) also gives a chance for dogs with special requirements to enjoy their lives too without having their progress set back by charging off leash dogs. It is for everyone's benefit and isn't a big ask.

I'm very thankful that my oldest pup Jago had a successful surgery today. It is scary having a 14 year old dog go under the knife but the vet said that his heart is very strong and physically overall he's in excellent shape. He's been with my family through so many experiences since he was a pup. It was an emotional day but I'm glad he's home and doing well.
