"Hi!
My name is Gnocchi and I am a flame point Ragdoll kitty. I’m 6 years old and super fluffy. I’ve lived with my mom and older “brother” Lucca (another Radgoll kitty) since I was 9 weeks old and we’ve always gotten along….until about 6 months ago when he did something that really ticked me off (don’t ask me what, I’m a cat with a short attention span) and now all I want to do is beat him up. My mom has tried separating us for long periods of time (weeks) in different rooms but it’s tough because we live in an apartment. She also took both of us to the vet (hated it!) to make sure we were both ok and we are! She put Feliway diffusers in every room, and gave us both “calming treats” daily. Finally, she put me on some kitty prozac and things were a lot better for almost 2 months, but as of a couple of months ago, my brother and I aren't getting along again. I try to be a good boy, but when I see my brother, I just see red and now it’s worse than it ever was and I’m feeling really stressed out. My vet upped my Kitty Prozac to 5mg and put my brother on the same dose. Now my brother is pretty d***y and quiet, but I still see red when I see him. Right now my mom has us living separately. I really would love to be able to roam about my whole domain!
My mom is super upset about all of this and really doesn’t want me to move out, but I’m wondering if I might do better in a home with no other pets or kids. (Not crazy about kids, they move too fast!) I’m really a nice kitty at heart! I like to sleep on my back or curled up on my favourite chair. I like getting my mane combed and my chin scratched and the butt scritches are great, too! I’m very healthy, neutered, and my shots are current, but I do eat a special dry vet kibble so I don’t get the poops. Not pretty on my gorgeous long white fur! I am an indoor kitty and I don’t want to go outside. I’m not a super needy cuddler, but I’ll sit on your lap once in a while and I’ll come to bed with you at night for a while until you fall asleep. Because of all my luxurious fur, I might need a Lion Cut once a year because I’m not keen on the cat brush. My mom will make sure I’m spit spot with a new haircut before I go to my new forever home and she will send along all my grooming stuff and favourite toys.
Do you think you might like to take me home so I can live in a quiet place with just my humans? It will probably take me several days or even a couple of weeks to get used to living in a new place with new people. I’m quite shy in the beginning, so please be patient with me. If you have experience with cats, that would be great!
If you are interested in adopting me, contact Laird-Eglinton Pet Hospital."

Spotted Siamese (?) cat on McRae wearing a harness … looked very lost and probably not supposed to be outdoors. In case anybody is looking!

If you are unable to donate, no problem, sharing this post helps as well. Thank you! 🐕 🤗
