❤🇨🇦 Three unique dog breeds originating from are the Newfoundland, the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, and the Canadian Inuit Dog (also known as the Canadian Eskimo Dog). The Labrador Retriever, while very popular in Canada, is not considered a uniquely Canadian breed, though it originated in Newfoundland, Canada.
Here's a bit more about each:
🐶Newfoundland:
This large, gentle breed is known for its webbed feet and swimming abilities.
🐶Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever:
This medium-sized breed, with its distinctive red coat, is known for its unique "tolling" hunting style.
🐶Canadian Inuit Dog:
A strong, working dog used for pulling sleds by the Inuit people, it's one of the oldest Arctic dog breeds.
