GourMei Microgreens indoor vertical farm was founded by Mei in January 2024. From 2017 to 2021, Mei was a member farmer with Fresh City Farms. She had a 2000 sqft plot at Downsview Park and grew vegetables for her family and friends during the summer. She loves to work with the soil, get her hands dirty, breathe fresh air, and eat fresh vegetables. Mei stopped farming with Fresh City when their farm plot moved, but she has missed growing vegetables ever since. Life changes and to cut long story short, Mei started GourMei Microgreens Farm, which has been a fun and nourishing experience so far!
