Merrill Park Dog Association Merrill Park Dog Association (MPDA), was created as an off leash park by local area residents in Danforth Village/Upper Beaches Neighbourhood

Merrill Park Dog Association is an designated off-leash park in accordance with the City of Toronto Off-Leash Policy. The park was successfully designated in 2010. The association continues to work with the city to improve the park amenities for local residents.

Thank you!!

On behalf of the Merrill Dog Park Association, I’d like to thank all of the volunteers (Joe, Barbora and Robert, Wayne, Kathy R, Kathy T, Matt C, Cheryl, James, Heather) who came out this morning. Together we collected about 15 yard bags and a big bag of garbage. They also relocated a bunch of wood chips to areas that needed them. If you see any of these rockstars, be sure to thank them! Our park looks fabulous!

Apologies for the late note. I big thank you to Kathy Reynolds for putting together our Howloween event! It was amazing to see everyone and their pups in costume. We are grateful to our local businesses for supporting our little party! Thanks to REN'S PETS for their donations, Wag on the Danforth (gift card), The Canine Social Company (gift card), Pizza Nova (gift card), Gelato On The Danny & Espresso Bar (gift card), and Celenas Bakery (gift card). There have been reports of dismembered raccoons in the dog park. This is likely from the coyotes in the ravine. If you see any, please report to 311 for removal.

Lately there has been hate graffiti on our picnic tables and commemorative bench. It has since been removed. If you see more, please email [email protected] with photos so I can alert the city to remove it. Hate does not belong in our park!
