Our newest batch of Priodibio Biodigest and Start Up has arrived! We use this to bump up our bacteria levels after a large shipment.

For general use, we recommend either the Start Up to quick cycle a new aquarium and to keep vials of Biodigest on hand in case of a sudden ammonia spike or to top up bacteria levels after heavy maintenance.

Looking for a lower maintenance carpeting plant? We have had good success with Eleocharis acicularis. It may be taller than the Dwarf Hairgrass (Eleocharis pusilla "Mini") but still grows thin blades of grass unlike the thicker Dwarf Sagittaria or Helanthium tenellum "Green".

We have had this clump transition to submerged growth and send out runners within just 3 weeks! It is planted in plain sand with a T5 LED, no fertilizers or CO2.

Worried about hair algae? Give Pom Pom Crabs a try. These guys are strong enough to remove it and gentle enough to not damage the moss underneath.
