Welcome to Dog Lounge Dog Lounge is a complete dog day care and training centre located in Toronto, Ontario.

We offer a full range of services for taking care of your pets, such as private behavioural training, puppy classes, pet first aid training, day care services, dog walking, professional pet grooming, and customized pet nutrition recommendations. The Dog Lounge philosophy centres around the individual dog and its well being while under our care. We endeavour to provide a true "home-away-from-home"

experience by maintaining smaller groups of dogs in a familiar home style environment. At Dog Lounge we boast a fully fenced in outside area as well as the two inside play areas.

Click, treat, repeat. Bernie and Marcel are mastering their skills, one click at a time! 📚🎓

𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐞! Prior to this session, Bernie and I had been working on the ‘watch me’ behavior. However, I didn’t introduce the verbal cue until after he had already learned the behavior. I used a technique called ‘capturing,’ which means I waited for Bernie to perform the desired behavior without giving any prompts. 🐾 In the beginning, I would simply wait for Bernie to make eye contact, and when he did, I clicked and treated him. After some clicks, Bernie learned that making eye contact earned him treats! Then, I added the verbal cue ‘watch me.’ When Bernie made eye contact, I clicked and treated again, and just like that, he learned the cue ‘watch me.’ Good job Bernie 🥰 ~ Devany
