For the second time today I’m posting for a client, the first post not so well, but this post attatches to my heart more , I do know this dog she is beautiful. The family has done everything to keep her,but the child is really allergic, yes they have tried lots of things, please no haters or bad comments if your interested I’ll give contact info .
I don’t generally get involved with these things but the one time I did a really wonderful family was found
Sheba is 2.5 years old, spayed, and an incredibly well-behaved companion. She weighs 89 lbs. She has completed two obedience training courses, and I have the certificates to show her achievements. She is up to date on vaccination shots. We are located in Bradford, Ontario. Small rehoming fee to ensure she goes to a good home.
Sheba thrives in a structured environment and has been raised in a loving family. Here are some key details about her:
• Great with children – Sheba gets along well with kids and has a calm demeanor around them.
• Fully house-trained – No accidents in the house, no destructive chewing, and she’s never been allowed on the furniture. She sleeps in her crate at night.
• Crate-trained – She’s comfortable locked in her crate when unsupervised or when no one is home.
• Leash and walk training – Sheba walks beautifully on a prong collar and leather leash, with no pulling. She has been trained to walk in the heel position, always on your left side.
• Understands advanced commands – Sheba knows “sit,” “heel,” “down,” “stay,” “leave it,” “give,” “settle,” “quiet,” and responds to “okay” as her release command.
• Not overly vocal – She only barks when appropriate, such as when someone is at the door or if there are strangers in the home.
• Good with cats – While she adored our cat, she does like to chase, so it may take time for her to adjust if you have a feline companion.
• Sensitive stomach – Sheba needs to be fed three to four small meals daily to prevent bile vomiting. Her feeding schedule is well-established, and she thrives on Royal Canin Large Breed food, with occasional rice added as a filler.
• Prefers a female presence– Sheba is cautious around strange men but warms up to those she trusts and females much more easily. She would do best as the only dog in a household.
• Not suitable for first-time dog owners – Due to her size and strength, Sheba requires an experienced handler who is familiar with big breeds and confident in managing them.
• Nail trims require medication – She isn’t fond of having her paws touched, so we give her Trazodone before grooming, which helps her relax.
• Loves to relax and chew – When you’re watching TV, she’ll lounge beside you, happily chewing on Himalayan cheese sticks or bully sticks (we’ve worked on her resource guarding).
Sheba is an incredibly intelligent dog who loves to have a job and thrives on training. She is eager to please and enjoys learning new things. We’ve also trained her to lie down and stay calmly beside you when you sit on her leash until she’s released.
She’s fully potty-trained and goes on command for both "go potty" and "go p**p."
