Losing a pet during the holidays can be especially heart-wrenching, as the season often amplifies feelings of grief and loss. The absence of a beloved companion can leave a noticeable void in your home and routines. To help your other pets cope, try to maintain their regular schedule to provide stability and comfort. Offer extra attention, love, and playtime to help ease their anxiety. If they seem to be searching for or mourning the lost pet, acknowledge their feelings with patience, while also considering gentle ways to introduce new activities or routines to help them adjust 💞

The very affectionate Pip visited TPH last week! He loved looking out our window, watching the birds and actually refused to go back into his carrier to go home and wanted to stay in the window sill 🤣. Luckily, a treat managed to do the trick of getting him into his carrier. 😍

Join us at the Rotary Club of Trenton's first annual Festival of Trees where Trenton Pet Hospital is a tree sponsor and will be decorating and inviting to the community to join us in decorating a tree that will be available for bidding - and yes, that means you get the beautiful 7' prelit tree and all the trimmings! The theme for our tree is honouring the pets we have lost this year. We typically have an annual memorial night, and we thought that this event would be perfect to involve the community, raise funds and commemorate the fur friends we have lost this year. We will automatically be adding the names of the pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge this year with us.

Join us at Shoeless Joe's on the patio from Thursday, December 5-8th and view the trees, meet Santa, add decorations to the TPH tree, bid and more!
